  • You have already taken the most important first step of scheduling your first session. It’s ok to “come as you are”. To ease your anxiety and get the most out of your session, it can be helpful to use reminders on your phone of things that come up between sessions that you would like to discuss.

  • Discuss your concerns with your therapist. It might be that the current approach needs adjustment or that you need a different type of therapy. Open communication with your therapist can help identify and address any issues.

  • Sessions are generally 50 minutes long.
