It’s OK to feel overwhelmed, you’re doing your best.
Finding your voice.
I believe in creating a therapeutic relationship that includes support, empathy, and trust in a way that allows you to share your feelings without fear of judgment. During our first session, we will discuss your past experiences and how they relate to your current ideas about yourself. We will also talk about what your goals are for therapy.
What’s it like to work with me?
My sessions are entirely virtual. I feel that it provides access to therapy for people who may not otherwise be able to attend. For my neurodiverse clientele, it gives me the flexibility to use different approaches without the stress of in-person interaction. For example, clients can get up and walk around, use fidget toys, or turn off the screen if sustained eye contact is too labor-intensive. I find that it works very well for the clients I work with. Additionally, I find that it makes therapy more accessible for all, as it requires less time off from work and less creative scheduling to attend. All you need to do is hop on a video!
